NFF Leadership Tussle: Case Adjourned to May 9

The Supreme Court on Monday asked parties in the dispute over the leadership‎ of the Nigeria football federation to come back May 9 for it to hear the matter.

The five Supreme Court justices who heard the matter brought before it by the Giwa faction on the need to hear the case because it is time bound, said the court chose the May date because it has other matters to attend to.

They also awarded a N100,000  cost to the counsel of Amaju.
It could be recalled the Supreme Court had on January 16 fixed May 9 for the continued hearing in the leadership tussle but the counsel to Giwa approached the court to‎ reconsider the date because of time implications which the court refused to grant
