Ernest Asuzu Bounces Back With ‘The Code’

The name, Ernest Asuzu needs no introduction in the motion picture industry. At a time in the history of the birth of Nollywood (not the Nigerian film industry) Ernest was the toast of the moment on and off screen.

Suddenly, his fortune nosedived when he began to experience inexplicable issues which later nearly left him for dead as he suffered partial stroke.
Asuzu disappeared from the radar and was later discovered to be in the care of Warri based prophet, Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin who read about Asuzu’s predicament and intervened.

However, Asuzu was bitter with his colleagues in tinsel town who he accused of wickedness. He vowed never to go back to the industry that made him after his recovery. Surprisingly, the once bad boy of Nollywood has reneged on his vow. Probably, he has forgiven his ‘traducers,’ Asuzu  has once again hit location to feature in a big budget movie titled, ‘The Code.’ It was learnt that he gave a good account of himself.

The action thriller movie produced by Hakeem Akande and directed by Cyril Jackson also parades top stars as Bayray Mcwizu, Felix Omokhodion, Yakubu Mohammed, Chinyere Nwaizuzu, Hakeem Akande, among others.
The flick is expected to be premiered next month.
