Thrills As Alor Ends Year With Thanksgiving

In their usual manner of ending the year before the yuletide, like others, Alor indigenes in Lagos have every reason to thank the Almighty for His mercies upon its sons and daughters resident in Lagos.

Under the aegis of the Alor Development union, Lagos branch, they recently gathered en-mass at the Peoples Club house, in Surulere Lagos to make merry, re-unite and interact as one big family.

The chairman of the union, Chief Edwin Udoagwa said; “It is good we thank God before we go home to celebrate Christmas and New Year festivities. As you see their faces, they have different problems; right here we take note of their individual problems and try to find solutions to their issues as we gather.”

In his exhortation, Evangelist Nnamdi encouraged the community to concentrate in doing God’s will despite the hardship ravaging the country.

“And when you know God, love Him and serve Him, God will bless your bread and the works of your hands. These thing go together because if you don’t know him, you cannot love and if don’t love him you cannot serve him and attract His blessings,” the Evangelist said.
He also prayed for the community.

The all inclusive event also had an album launch by Mrs. Emily Anaekwuozu, a Kano based gospel musician even as health experts took time to educate the gathering on how to eat right and keep fit.
