Emeka Rollas Lauds Cross River CP For Averting Crisis In AGN Meeting (Photo)

National President, Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejezie Emeka Rollas has extended his heartfelt appreciation to the indefatigable Commissioner of Police Cross River State, Mr. Hafiz Inuwa for the mature conduct of his men (Deputy CP, Austin Nwanozie; Assistant CP, Lizzy Mfon; DC Operations, A.A Madaki, among others) who displayed unreserved professionalism as they dislodged some people who wanted to disrupt the peaceful meeting held with the AGN of the state chapter. 

Rollas also thanked the organizers and members for their understanding and tolerance.
It was gathered that a former State chairman, Monica Udofia tried to destabilize the meeting but for the intervention of the police leaving people to wonder what her motive was as the guild which was hitherto in comatose has been revived and growing in leaps and bounds under the leadership of Rollas.

The national president was also guest at the most popular radio station in the state, FAD FM owned by top filmmaker, Fidelis Duker.

Prior to his visit to Cross River, the AGN president had stormed Akwa Ibom State for the burial of the wife of top Nollywood actor and Special Assistant to the State Governor on Agriculture, Moses Armstrong, Senorita.

Rollas fully participated at the burial in Eket.

Present at the town hall meeting alongside his members and other stakeholders was the chairman, AGN, Akwa Ibom State chapter, Comrade Emmanuel Owuala, aka  ‘Emma Solution.’ 

During his visit, the President held a town hall meeting of which the State chairman, AGN, Akwa Ibom State, Comrade Emanuel Owuala aka ‘Emma Solution’ alongside the state chapter members and other stakeholders were in attendance.

Mr. President also with his team flagged-off the ongoing Voters Registration Sensitization Exercise organized by the state chapter at Nung Udoe, Ibesikpo Asutan LGA.

Obviously pleased with the action of the AGN President, the Governor of the State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel through the Honourable Commisioner for Housing and Special Duties, Mr. Akan Okon who received Rollas in his personal residence assured of the states’ readiness to host big movie producers henceforth as necessary infrastructural facilities are in place for the producers to relocate to Akwa Ibom for their productions.

Okon added that with the commencement of business activities at the Four Point by Sheraton hotel at Ikot Ekpene and the Golf Resort, big budget productions should be brought to the state which will provide employment opportunities for youths who are interested in the industry.

While thanking Okon for the kind gesture and for always standing by the State chapter, excited Rollas said that with the flag-off of the voters registration sensitization exercise done by the state chapter as well as other advocacy campaigns, the guild would return the same support to the governor by mobilizing the citizenry to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) so that they can be part of the electoral process come 2019 and beyond.

Rollas was accompanied by the State Chairman, Comrade Emmanuel Owuala; State chairman, Kaduna State, Hajia Salma Ibrahim and the Special Assistant to the national president, South South, Miss Pamsilva Sikpo.
