Muffy Blac Launches Studio...Drops New Song

After years of working towards actualizing his dreams of becoming a musician and music producer, David Alako better known as Muffy Blac has finally succeeded.

Alako who hails from Nassarawa State and started his music career professionally in 2010 is set to launch his career with a duet with reigning artiste, Small Doctor as he will on Saturday, tomorrow April 7 launch his studio, KLEA Studio.

Speaking on his music, Alako who is also a sound engineer, producer said: “I started off with my friends years back. And we formed a group, DSM. We used the initials of our first names-David, Sunday and Michael. Unfortunately, we disbanded and went our separate ways. It is two of us that are still doing music. I am into rap and ragga. I am currently working with Small Doctor on a single that would be released hopefully next month. Thsingle with Small Doctor is a high tempo song that introduces a style of dance. I have done some singles before now. One is titled, ‘One Bar.’ I did that with an artiste named Shocker. I can also remember that in 2008 in a studio in Abuja, I was recording a song, ‘Bombobo’ and Tekno was in the studio too. For now I will be dropping EP.”

On his studio located at 1, Obasa close, Ikeja and ably managed by Michael Salami, the dark lanky dude said: “ My studio is up to standard. I use latest modern technological equipments. Seeing is believing. I used to have a studio in my room when I was living on the Island. I record for free then. I was actually saving money to get a standard studio. And thank God I now have it. We are open for business and our fee is affordable.

Alako however has Mavado and PopCan as role models while also hoping to work with Burna Boy.
