Meet Mary Fyne Ejuwa Eimonye: A Pearly Filmmaker

Since 2006 when she stormed tinsel town on the television series, ‘In the Hood,’ on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Mary Fyne Ejuwa Eimonye has not looked back.
Instead she has increasingly improved her acting skill that she has now become a movie producer.
Explaining why she delved into movie making, Benue born Eimonye said: “I produced because I love to act and make movies. I have got so many ideas that I would love to share with the world, so producing is one good way to let it all out.
I also want to create opportunities for young actors, bring my imaginations to life and make the people of Benue proud.”
Furthermore, the graduate International Relations from the prestigious Les Cours Sonou University, Republic of Benin also talks about her new flick directed by veteran filmmaker, Fidelis Duker, thus: “The movie ‘Vacation Blues’ is about a young man who has a girlfriend that loves him dearly but he doesn't appreciate her love for him that much and he goes about sleeping around with older women. It took a dream for him to realize what he was doing wrong and to make amends. It is an interesting movie.”

The star studded cast include the likes of Eddie Watson, Belinda Effah, Foluke Daramola ,Moyo Lawal, Daniel LLoyd ,Frankincense Eche Ben among others.
Having the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Taraji P. Henson and Will Smith as role models, Eimonye who loves travelling, reading, writing, playing games and dancing also runs a boutique of her won.
Speaking on her tender side, she revealed to have a thing for honest, intelligent and God-fearing men saying she has been easily coping with advances of the opposite sex as she grew up with them on account of her mixed secondary school background.
Though this is her first flick, she hopes to produce many more outstanding movies.
