PDP Must Unmask Name Substituting Cartel In Abuja - Obanoyen

A candidate that won the primary election to contest next year's Owo/Os e Federal House of Representatives seat, Sadiq Obanoyen whose name was substituted has urged the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to urgently unmask and disban the cartel at its national headquarters before they destroy the party.

This call comes as he fights to reclaim his mandate that he won to contest next year's election but was shut out by a gang at the party's national headquarters.

He said he defeated the incumbent, Bode Ayorinde by 107 to 73 votes at the primary election but to his surprise when he went to fill the candidate's INEC form
at the party's state headquarters he was told that Ayorinde has filled the form.

"I'm still in shock that our Party still harbours political jobbers, whose stock in trade is creating confusion. I beat Ayorinde at the primary election with 107 votes but when I went to fill the form, the looser had conived with some unscrupulous elements and filled the form and thus fraudulently but automatically became our party's candidate.
This must stop if we must get it right next year."

I've however approached a court of competent jurisdiction to reclaim my mandate and by the grace of God, justice would be done.
hopefully the matter would be concluded in due course.
I have confidence in the judiciary and I know justice would be done," he concluded.
