TMZ has obtained a video shot in April, 2023, through which plaintiff Arianna Davis gushes over Lizzo, saying, “It has been so wonderful and such an exquisite journey. I look as much as her a lot. I simply need to observe in her footsteps, and I simply need to share that with the Queen Lizzo herself.”
Lizzo’s lawyer, Marty Singer, tells TMZ, “These don’t sound just like the worlds of somebody who was harassed or discriminated towards by somebody they described as ‘THE QUEEN.”
What’s crucial right here … Davis made her feedback after the European leg of Lizzo’s tour and after Season 1 of “Watch Out for the Huge Grrls.” All of Davis’s allegations contain alleged incidents earlier than she shot this video — an interview for Season 2 of the present, through which Davis pitches herself as a singer.
Davis and one other plaintiff, Crystal Williams, appeared on “TMZ Reside” Tuesday and acknowledged they had been fired after Lizzo’s staff stated their dancing was lower than par.
Lizzo broke her silence Thursday morning, saying, “These sensationalized tales are coming from former staff who’ve already publicly admitted that they had been informed their habits on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.”
Marty Singer provides, ”They are saying {that a} image is price a thousand phrases and right here a video exhibits that there are not any professional claims on this lawsuit. We’re assured that Lizzo shall be fully vindicated on this matter.”
