Kerala Meeting passes decision to rename state as ‘Keralam’

The Kerala Meeting on Wednesday unanimously adopted a decision urging the Centre to formally rename the state as ‘Keralam’. The decision was moved by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan who urged the state’s identify to be modified to Keralam in all languages included within the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Structure.
